INGREDIENTS
1-11/2 lbs. Boneless Venison (tenderloin, chop, steak)
2tbs. olive oil
1tbs. butter
1/2 cup red wine or cooking sherry
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
1 can mushrooms
Directions
Heat oil and butter in skillet over medium heat
Add meat and cook until pink
Add mushrooms and red wine
Allow to cook until tender
Add gravy mix and cook until thickened
If too thick add water to desired thickness
Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes |
