Books and DVDs are effective tools for propelling your fly-fishing journey. |

The passion of fly fishing has been described as a journey by many writers. Certainly, one never quite arrives at a permanent destination in the pursuit. There are always new things to learn, or to ponder, or investigate and understand. A great way to impart momentum in the journey is to sit down with a book or DVD and expose yourself to the musings and teachings of other flyheads. You will rarely watch a casting instruction DVD, or read a well-written book about a fly fishing destination without taking away something new to experience. There's no better time to soak up new ideas than the winter months, when many nearby angling opportunities seem to dry up. |
