XPS Hook Holder

The new and improved holders are made with stronger, more durable, heat-resistant 100% silicone material.

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." I'm not quite sure where that proverb originated, but it aptly describes the development process and current incarnation of the XPS Hook Holders from Bass Pro Shops.

During the initial phase of its introduction, the XPS Hook Holder was well received by anglers for its perceived potential as a quick and convenient way to store dangling hooks and lures on rods without built-in hook holders. Anglers quickly realized, however, that the spot where the rubber ring had been molded together was weak, and this caused many of the hook holders to split while being rolled over the rod handle, long before making it onto the reel seat.

Hook Holder

The new XPS hook holders are extremely strong and can withstand a great deal of stretch.

Thanks to valuable feedback from customers, the product developers at Bass Pro Shops went back to the drawing board and vastly improved construction of the XPS Hook Holder. The new and improved Hook Holders now are made with a stronger, more durable, heat-resistant 100-percent silicone material.

Unlike the previous version, the new Hook Holders made with silicone that won't dry out. Also, you no longer have to worry about breaking the Hook Holder while rolling it over your rod handle either. These new hook holders are extremely strong and can withstand a great deal of stretch before breaking -- much more than the stress placed on it by rolling it over the trigger of a casting rod handle.

If you were disappointed by the original version, give the new and improved XPS Hook Holder a try. Superior materials and an improved molding process make this version one that will last and last.
