Fishing Department Sales Associate |
INDIANA (Portage) |
Position summary:
Performs various Selling / Customer Service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information, assistance and direction to customers.
Position responsibilities:
Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
Insure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
Demonstrate product to customers
Replenish product on shelves as required per Merchandising guidelines
Remains Product “expert” through ongoing product knowledge training
Knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintain pricing and signing
Assist with "Seasonal" floor merchandise moves
Restock merchandise as required
Other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed
A strong knowledge of fishing merchandising is a plus.

Hunting Department Sales Associate (Part-time) |

Position summary:

Knowledge of hunting (Firearm and Archery) merchandising is a plus.

Must have extensive knowledge of GPS, Depth finders, trolling motors and marine electronics.

Group Sales Manager - Marine/Boat Department |
INDIANA (Portage) |
We are currently seeking a Group Sales Manager to oversee our Marine Accessories/Boat Department. As a key member of our Management team you will be responsible for: Generating departmental sales and profit while controlling expenses, inventory, payroll, coordinating departmental merchandising, marketing and store operations. Support a strong commitment to world class customer service through coaching, training and positive motivation. Staffing department(s) with service oriented associates. Prepares/ administers performance appraisals, weekly work schedule and daily activities of up to 30 associates. Opening and closing the store. Resolve customer and associate issues.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years in Retail Management preferably in big box, high volume, with responsibility for one or more Sales Departments. A true passion for the outdoors is a plus! Local knowledge and experience in the respective areas is a must.
