Position summary:

Group Sales Manager - Hunting Department |

Successful candidates must have 3-5 years big box, high volume retail experience. Must have vast knowledge of hunting, hunting equipment, archery, State and Federal gun regulations and Nevada Laws. As a key member of our Management team you will be responsible for generating departmental sales and profit while controlling expenses, inventory, payroll, coordinating departmental merchandising, marketing and store operations. Candidate must support a strong commitment to world class customer service through coaching, training and positive motivation appraisals. Responsibilities include maintaining weekly work schedules and daily activities of up to 30 associates, opening and closing the store and resolving customer and associate issues.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years in Retail Management, preferably in big box high volume, with responsibility for one or more Sales Departments. Non-Commissioned Position
Position summary:
Performs various Selling / Customer Service activities to assist Boat and ATV Customers in making informed buying decisions.
Position responsibilities:
Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and insures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
Meets with potential customers to determine their boating needs. Provides information necessary to allow the customer to make an informed buying decision
Maintains current product knowledge by using available resources, i.e., product brochures, Internet and product information training meetings
Maintains awareness of advertised items
Remains current on & adheres to all selling skills training & direction
Works cooperatively with the Service Department to see that delivery to the customer is seamless
Maintains complete confidentiality of all sensitive & personal information
Participates in special events such as Boat Shows, Parking Lot events, etc.
Accurately completes all necessary paperwork required within the selling process
Prepares the showroom each morning to ensure proper signage is in place per established presentation standards and all products are clean, presentable and in sellable condition
Utilizes IDS Prospect Management screens on a daily basis, specifically entering new customers and conducting follow up activities with customers before and after the sale
Performs other duties & assignments as needed (including temporary assignments in other areas of the Store)

Helps coordinate and implement special events in the store. Serves as the liaison between the Store & Local Organizations & Affinity Groups

Coordinates "in-house" outdoor skills workshop program

Maintains strong relationships with local chapters of conservation organizations and affinity groups
Submits timely information for tabs, website pages, signage, ROP, etc. to Marketing
