Scheduling Specialist NEVADA (Las Vegas)
Position Summary:

Works with management team to create, generate and edit the scheduling of large volumes of hourly associates, throughout multiple departments and over various shifts, to ensure maximum staffing coverage within allotted payroll budgets.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supports the company’s commitment to delivering world class customer service and to ensuring a pleasant, safe, and productive shopping experience for all guests.
• Partners with management team to ensure associates’ availability is always kept current and entered into the Scheduling program. Effectively manages the on-going nature of availability changes and time off requests on a weekly basis.
• Creates effective work patterns for all departments to ensure maximum staffing coverage within budgetary guidelines by partnering with the management team.
• Generates, edits and maintains weekly departmental work schedules to ensure consistency of scheduling throughout the retail store
• Provides timely communication to management team for the schedule review process.
• Ensures weekly changes have been properly entered as per Managers’ edits.
• Upon completion of Managers’ edits, finalizes and publishes weekly schedules to post for associates to view.
• Generates exception reports for management staff to review and discuss with associates.
• Knows and supports all established scheduling policies and procedures including ‘black out’ periods for time off requests.
• Tracks shifts / days scheduled, by associate, to maintain consistency and equity within each department and throughout the store.
• As per the nature of time off requests, maintains confidentiality as required.
