1:00-2:00: Casting with Vintage Rods and Fly Tying

Cast antique bamboo, fiberglass, graphite and steel rods from some of history’s greatest rodsmiths. Yoshi Akiyama from the American Museum of Fly Fishing will demonstrate freshwater ties and Mike Rice of Mud Dog Flies will take you through saltwater patterns 

2:15-3:00: The History of Saltwater Fishing

Learn about the upcoming exhibition, On Fly in the Salt: American Saltwater Fly Fishing from the Surf to the Flats. From Jack Gartside to Lefty Kreh, from the Cape to Florida, we have it covered!
