Bass Pro Shops announces new store for Daytona Beach

70,000-square-foot Outpost store will be located at the
entrance to the world famous Daytona International
Speedway and will serve as key anchor tenant for
ONE DAYTONA mixed-use development.


SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Bass Pro Shops, an outdoor retailer specializing in hunting, fishing, camping and other related outdoor recreation gear, will locate a new store in Daytona Beach as an anchor for the ONE DAYTONA mixed-use and entertainment destination.


“By bringing a Bass Pro Shops Outpost store to Daytona Beach’s ONE DAYTONA, we hope to add to the area’s long history of  being a top notch outdoor entertainment and tourist destination,” said Johnny Morris, Founder of Bass Pro Shops.

This 181-acre landmark project is being developed by the International Speedway Corporation (ISC) and Atlanta-based Jacoby Development, Inc.  Near the crossroad of I-95 and I-4, this project is in close proximity to the “World’s Most Famous Beach” and at the doorstep of the third-largest consumer region in the United States with about 17 million people.  The preliminary conceptual designs for the first phase of ONE DAYTONA include 1.1 million square feet of world-class shopping, fine dining, hotel, theater and other entertainment just steps from the “World Center of Racing.”


Located at the intersection of I-95 and International Speedway Boulevard, this new 70,000-square-foot Bass Pro Shops® Outpost store will be located directly across from the Daytona International Speedway entrance.

Bass Pro Shops’ award-winning outdoor stores are known for combining retail with entertainment, conservation and outdoor education. More than just a fishing and hunting store, Bass Pro Shops stores offer equipment and clothing for hiking, backpacking, wildlife viewing, camping, outdoor cooking and more.  A gift and nature center also will serve up a wide variety of outdoor-related items from lamps and dishes to bird feeders and furniture. Their expansive boat showroom will feature Tracker, Nitro, SunTracker, Tahoe, Grizzly and Mako boats built by Tracker Marine Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of fishing boats.
