Summary

2) Help develop estimates from AOR construction documents and other Design Development drawings and information for major projects and ancillary projects including but not limited to Big Cedar Lodge, Top of the Rock, Longcreek, SPC, miscellaneous existing store requests and other corporate entities and properties.

3)Assist manager to develop and maintain production schedules for five to ten projects, each consisting of 80-100 work orders. Assure that all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) are budgeted, produced and shipped.

4) Update the project calendar and schedule due to changes (additions and deletions) to Fab shop scope and work with other staff to update sales order and work orders to reflect changes. Maintain contact with BPS project site managers and General Contractor affiliates to ensure open communication for accurate issuance and understanding of products supplied including installation instructions.

5) Work with production team to develop and maintain accurate historical files for budgeting and manufacturing. Develop retrieval system to produce budget price for quoting with supplemental supporting documents including ACAD and PDF drawings in addition to photos of finished product in a comprehensive package retrievable electronically for hard copy distribution when needed.

6) Work with supervisors and engineering (CAD tech) to ensure correct information is entered into drawings and other production documents for efficient time and material management to attain budget target.

The Director of Non-Merchandise Procurement reports to the VP of Supply Chain and is responsible for implementing and executing sourcing strategies, initiatives and projects for a broad spectrum of spend categories, including but not limited to construction, store planning, office supplies, equipment, corporate services and visual merchandising.     The Master Scheduler is responsible for both long term and short term production/process planning. This individual will be required to create and maintain the production schedules for three manufacturing locations with input in the process for up to two more.     Position Summary:
    This individual is responsible for the purchasing of all items in the fabricated commodity. The specialist is responsible for the product from the time the order is placed until it is delivered to the production plant. This commodity includes 1000 active parts and 45 suppliers that will need managed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Run MRP to place purchase orders
    • Reschedule orders in and out to meet production demands
    • Work with suppliers to resolve issues that affect supply
    • Work with suppliers on product quality issues and obtain return goods authorizations
    • Manage and resolve shortages of product that affect production facilities
    • Gather purchase order confirmations
    • Work with suppliers on past due orders to get them fulfilled
    • Work with online shipping system, Weblinx, to add shipments, work supplier shipping discrepancies, and check product delivery status
    • Continually work with suppliers and internal purchasing group on improvement projects to better the supplier and Tracker Marine
    • Use forecasting tool and understand requirements to order product with long lead times
    • Work to improve supplier shipping fill rate to above 95%
    • Coordinate with the sourcing team to find alternate materials when product is in short supply
    • Work with the production facilities to answer product supply questions
    • Work with manufacturing facilities to understand and communicate information in regards to product disruptions

    Develop recreational marine products for fabrication in composites, aluminum and rotomolded thermoplastic.     Skills/Qualifications:

    •Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Mechanical Engineering, Minor in Manufacturing Engineering or Naval Architecture at an accredited four year college or university is highly preferred (or other relevant degree and/or experience)
