While you'll find a huge selection of outdoor gear, Bass Pro Shops stores are also part museum, art gallery, antique store, aquarium, education, conservation and entertainment center. Using more than 3,500 area artifacts, antiques, pictures, mounts and memorabilia, the store becomes a living museum of New England's hunting, fishing, camping and other outdoor legacies.
More than a hunting and fishing store, visitors will also find items perfect for camping, hiking, outdoor cooking, bird watching or whatever your outdoor pleasures may be. A gift and nature center offers a variety of items from artwork to lamps, to bird feeders and furniture, to home decorating items and gifts for the holidays. Cooking accessories include cookbooks, spices, grills and jerky making items.
The store also features a wide selection of men's and women's footwear and apparel, featuring popular brands including Columbia, North Face, Bob Timberlake, World Wide Sportsman and RedHead.
The best part is that each department comes with skilled and knowledgeable associates that will guide you thru your every need.
Join us every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m., as well as every Saturday at 1:30 p.m., for our live fish feedings and informational demonstrations at our 34,000 gallon, freshwater, educational aquarium. Times subject to change based on animals needs and Massachusetts school vacation week we will feed at 1:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday. The aquarium is filled with over 400 native New England fish (courtesy of the Massachusetts Department of Fisheries and Wildlife). Other water features include a 5,500 gallon turtle pond and a 3,800 gallon trout pool.
Come check out one of New England’s only public access Cranberry Bogs and Nature Trail. Bass Pro has teamed up with Patriot Place and Ocean Spray to offer a close look at a working cranberry bog. You can walk or snow shoe the ½ mile nature trail and checkout some of New England’s fall foliage and might even run across one of our native wild animals. You can access the trail/Bog behind Bass Pro shops.
Kids of all ages will enjoy the logging mill themed 2-story laser arcade featuring approximately 55 animated targets.
Make sure to stop at Uncle Buck’s Snack Shop to get your fresh made fudge, roasted nuts, hot dogs, nachos, and fresh ice cream from Cumberland, Rhode Island’s Ice Cream Machine. If you don't know where it is there’s no need to ask, just close your eyes and follow the delicious aromas.
The menu features a great selection of food and beverages from tasty appetizers like Blue Fin Sliders or Three Cheese Quesadillas to our Specialty Grilled Sandwiches and Hearty Cheeseburgers. Eat in the main room or dine outside on the patio overlooking the cranberry bog.

THE CATCH: Sea-to-Table Recipes, Stories & Secrets: with BEN SARGENT
Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 12:00-2:00pm.
About THE CATCH: Sea-to-Table Recipes, Stories & Secrets:
An avid fisherman, home cook, and veteran surfer, Ben Sargent has been mesmerized by fishing since childhood. In his debut cookbook, THE CATCH, Sargent shares his stories and favorite sea-to-table recipes collected from his adventures, and teaches home cooks how to make all of his seafood favorites.
THE CATCH is Sargent’s love letter to the locals he has met on seashores around the country (and beyond) and the signature ingredients that inspire the cookbook's 100 recipes, which are divided by species for saltwater and freshwater fish and seafood. Home cooks will learn to prepare fish in a variety of styles, and will savor recipes like Cornmeal Fried Oysters, Corn & Crab Chowder, Catfish Stew with Lima Beans, and of course, Dr. Klaw’s Lobster Rolls.
Inspired by the traditions of the sea and a passion for eating locally, THE CATCH serves up delicious inspiration for those who love to eat fish and seafood, whether they catch it themselves or buy it at the grocery store.
BEN SARGENT is the host of the primetime hit show Hook, Line & Dinner, in its 4th season on Cooking Channel. On Food Network he has been a judge on Iron Chef America and a contestant on Chopped and Throwdown! with Bobby Flay. He has cooked alongside Martha Stewart and has been profiled in the New York Times, Daily News, New York Post, and Huffington Post, among other major media outlets. He is the creator of the Brooklyn Fishing Derby and his alter ego Doctor Klaw, of the Underground Lobster Pound, has reached cult status. Ben is a graduate of Skidmore College. Ben lives in Brooklyn, New York and Puerto Rico
