This Class is For Hunter Safety. Colorado Division of Wildlife Curriculum

Each Hunter Education class consists of two sessions which total 12 hours this is mandated by Colorado state law.

Everyone born on or after January 1, 1949 who applies for a Colorado hunting license or preference point must have successfully completed an approved hunter education course. If you do not have your hunter safety card you need this class. The Colorado Division of Wildlife recommends that a student be a minimum of ten years of age to take this course. This class will inform people about fire arms safety, hunting laws, survival and first aid, provide instruction on rifle, shotgun, pistol and archery safety.

The first class will be held at Bass Pro Shops Denver in The Frying Pan Lodge, 7970 Northfield Boulevard. The 2nd class will be held at the CDOW 6060 Broadway HE Building -Test, Range and Issue of Hunter Education Cards)
