Much more than your basic fishing and hunting store, this 130,000 square foot outdoor super store features two levels full of outdoor gear, mens and womens clothing, footwear, and yes, even home decor.
One of the stores main attractions is the 18,000 gallon fish tank. Stocked with more than 200 fish native to the area, its a sight not to miss! In addition to the aquarium you can find various museum quality wildlife exhibits adorn the entire store including state record fish mounts, turkeys, native waterfowl, quail, pheasant, elk, and full body whitetail mounts.
The 6,800 square foot Islamorada Fish Company restaurant (pronounced 'eye-la-mah-rah-dah'), located inside the store, serves up a wide variety of fresh seafood entrees that are sure to tempt any taste bud. A 13,000 gallon saltwater aquarium, located directly behind the bar, is home to scores of colorful, exotic fish. The restaurant also offers an exterior patio for dining that overlooks a pond and water feature adjacent to the store that is used for casting demonstrations and seminars.
The store also offers Outdoor Skills Workshops for adults, kids and families that will help maximize outdoor fun by teaching new skills and improving existing ones. These are free classes that will be offered on a regular basis and will include topics like fly fishing, bass fishing, hunting, archery and more.
