Conveniently located off of I-65, take it easy and admire the sights and sounds of nature as you wind through our scenic drive.  Once you enter our building, you’ll be amazed to discover almost 140,000 square feet of outdoor excitement, boasting over 3,500 area antiques and artifacts, nearly 400 trophy fish and wildlife mounts, and numerous grand murals depicting the rich conservational history of south central Alabama, making our store a true destination experience.  We are widely recognized for our efforts in conservation and outdoor education and Bass Pro Shops is proud to have received more conservation awards than any other outdoors retailer. 
But if you still think that we’re just another outdoor retail store, we encourage you to join us every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:00pm and Saturday and Sunday at noon for an educational live fish feeding at our 18,000 gallon fresh water aquarium.  We also offer many free workshops and classes to help you learn or improve your existing skills to tame the great outdoors in no time.  However, we’re not just for the adults; we have special events, crafts, and activities for kids, too.
