AND OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
- ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR CLAIM PRIZE. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Bass Pro Trademarks, L.L.C. (the "Sponsor"), its subsidiaries, agencies, affiliates and members of the immediate families (spouses and parents, siblings, children and their spouses and in-laws) and persons living in the same household of such individuals are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
- TO ENTER: The "Be Part of the Team" Sweepstakes begins on 12/26/04 at 12:01 a.m. Central Time ("CT") and ends on 10/1/05 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Sponsor's computer is the official clock for this sweepstakes.
Automatic Entry Via Purchase:
[1] You will automatically receive one entry into the sweepstakes each time you make a Bass Pro Shops catalog or internet purchase.
[2] You will automatically receive one entry into the sweepstakes each time you make an in-store purchase if you provide a valid telephone number (for notification purposes if selected as a winner).
Entry Without Purchase:
Visit the sweepstakes registration page at basspro.com/sweepstakes and complete an online entry form and submit as directed.
There is no limit to number of entries per person. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm CT on 10/1/05.
- PRIZE: On or about 10/5/05, a random drawing will be conducted by Promotion Mechanics, Inc., an independent judging organization from among all eligible entries received to award the following prize:
(1) Grand Prize: a trip for winner and guest to Atlanta, GA to attend the 2005 Bass Pro Shops/MBNA Atlanta 500 races scheduled to be held in October 2005 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway to be an honorary member of Martin Truex Jr.'s team. Prize consists of round trip coach air travel for two from the major commercial airport nearest winner's residence; 3 days/2 nights' standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations; transportation to/from the hotel and races; 2 VIP tickets to each race; the opportunity to meet Martin Truex Jr., 2 VIP pit tours to each race; clothing to be selected by Sponsor; invitations to special activities to be determined by Sponsor; certain meals and $200 spending money. Approximate retail value of prize is $3,000. Actual value will be determined by winner's residence and seasonal rates. Any difference between actual value and stated value will not be awarded. All taxes on the prize and expenses not specified are winner's sole responsibility. All travel, accommodations and racing events are subject to availability, change, and certain restrictions. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary, and must comply with all security requirements. If winner is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, he/she must travel with his/her parent/legal guardian. If any portion of prize is cancelled or postponed, the remaining portion of the prize will be awarded as complete and final and no compensation will be offered. Trip must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor and as otherwise stated in these rules. If winner cannot accept prize as stated, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and awarded to an alternate winner.
Winner will be notified by telephone and/or mail. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.
- GENERAL: By participating, entrants (and entrant's parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence) agree (a) to these rules and decisions of judges which shall be final in all respects; (b) to release Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies, including Promotion Mechanics, Inc., and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability, losses or damages of any kind resulting from their participation in the promotion or their acceptance, use or misuse of a prize, including liability for personal injury or death; (c) if a winner, to the use of name and/or photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation (unless prohibited by law) and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so, and to the announcement of their name, city and state online; and (d) that Sponsor and its agents have not made any representation, warranty or guaranty, in whole or in part, in law or in fact, relative to the prize. Winner will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and (where legal) a publicity release, which must be returned within time period specified by Sponsor or an alternate winner may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification of winner and selection of an alternate winner. If winner is not of the age of majority in his/her state of residence (a "minor"), prize will be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian, and the affidavit and release (if applicable) must also be signed by that minor's parent or legal guardian. Travel guest of winner must complete a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release prior to the issuance of travel documents. If travel guest is a minor, release must be completed by minor's parent/legal guardian both on behalf of himself/herself and minor; and parent/legal guardian must travel with minor at own expense. Travellers are responsible for all required travel documents and any travel insurance. Sponsor, its officers, directors, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents and representatives and their respective employees are not responsible and shall not be liable for: (a) any telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, including without limitation, server malfunction or by any human error which may occur in the processing of entries; (b) failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions; (c) late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected entries; and (d) any condition caused by events that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the sweepstakes or any portion thereof should viruses, bugs, or other causes corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the promotion; in which case, all prizes will be awarded via a random drawing from among all eligible entries legitimately received prior to cancellation. Entries become the property of Sponsor. No prize transfer. No prize substitution except at Sponsor's sole discretion.
