Icebreaker's Merino Kodiak Camo Full-Zip is a premium jacket built of 320 gram heavyweight merino wool to keep you warm in cold to very cold conditions. The full zip goes all the way to the top to seal in warmth, and the hood adds further warmth retention and concealment. Thin, natural wool fibers from New Zealand Merino sheep make it warm in cold weather, light, breathable, easy care, no stink and no itch. And because it's made from grass, water and sunshine, it's renewable and biodegradable. 100% merino wool. Machine wash. Air dry.

Traditional wool may be warm, but it itches like crazy, it's bulky, heavy, and takes forever to dry. Artificial fibers like polyester are lightweight, easy care and usually non-itch, but they can also be stinky, poorly insulating and flammable. You could choose cotton instead, but you'll freeze to death when you get wet in the cold. So What's the solution? A performance fiber invented by nature and engineered for people, merino wool combines the best qualities of traditional wool, synthetics and cotton. It's soft and non-itchy, it's warm in the cold and cool in the heat, it breathes, and it has a miraculous ability to ward off stinkiness.

Fire-safe: wool is one of the least flammable of fibers. It's self-extinguishing and, unlike synthetics, it won't melt and stick to your skin.
Sun-safe: Icebreaker merino has a UPF rating of at least 50, which is considered the ultimate in sun protection. That's higher than cotton and most synthetics
Easy-care: Icebreaker merino is machine washable, dries quickly (air dry only-not in a tumble dryer), and bounces back into shape without ironing, making it ideal for travel.
Anti-static: Merino is resistant to static electricity, which means it won't cling or rustle.
