The Spiro Side Table by Flat Rock Furniture is named for the famed Spiro Mounds of Oklahoma, one of the richest archaeological sites in North America. The Spiro Side Table replicates the Gorget, a flat, cut and polished ornamental stone worn by the precontact peoples of the Eastern Woodlands and Mississippian cultures. The Granite Spiro table top is made from American white pine and finished in a dark gray wash with subtle contrasted flecking; the legs and base are kiln dried saplings, a rapidly renewable resource, finished as natural hickory bark with natural lichen impressions. The free form top and hickory stick base are finished with catalyzed lacquer for a lifetime of durability. The Spiro Side Table is made in the USA from native materials and ships ready to assemble. Measures: 26"W x 22"D x 23"H.
