When trolling, our StrataMaxx Line Counter Reel allows you to determine precisely the amount of line you have out. Whether you're fishing for salmon on the Great Lakes, or trolling for reservoir stripers, StrataMaxx Reels take guesswork out of the equation. Built on a rugged, lightweight graphite frame, reels feature a mechanical line counter and a double-anodized, machine-cut spool with a line-tie pin and line capacity rings. A total of 4 double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings give this reel its remarkable smoothness. Also included are a forged-aluminum handle for added strength, auto-engaging drive, and audible bait clicker. A PVC knob provides a sure and comfortable grip.
The Strata Maxx Trolling Rod is built on a strong, 2-piece Shok Flex graphite and glass hybrid blank that maintains the sensitive feel of graphite while offering the shock absorption benefits of glass. Rods are fitted with double-footed stainless steel guide frames with titanium oxide inserts. In addition to its cushioned reel seat, the rod features a comfortable EVA handle.
