i-Gen thumbs up!
I would like to say that I have both the older i-Gen and the new model i-Gen and I do not go out at night without one of them at least. You have to buy a 3rd gen model to even get close to the image quality Night Owl Optics has built into these units. The view finder is haze free and crystal clear! There is no “dirt” or “Spots” as you look through the viewfinder like with the older tube models. Plus you can change image color and text color, another feature that makes this a step above the rest.
This is money well spent and I have been telling and “selling” all my friends that may be interested in NV to look into the i-Gen first, before they buy anything because you may only have to look here!
You can not go wrong with this unit and the price is affordable to boot! I will get the next model if and when they update this again.

Super powers, anyone?
I remember reading comics as a kid and being fascinated with things like stupendous strength, amazing speed and super-vision! What kid doesn't wish they had a few of those amazing powers themselves!
Well, with the iGen 20/20 I feel like I have a "super power" myself! Super, duper "see-in-the-dark" abilities! The iGen offers a unique technology that is amazing at enhancing images in ultra-low light conditions...as well as a powerful infrared LED (and invisible to the naked eye) spotlight for ZERO light conditions! The iGen also lets you take photos of what you're viewing on a standard memory card! There's also a very cool video out jack for hooking up your video camera or attaching directly to something like a DVD recorder.
The iGen has a cool lens cap with a small opening, allowing you to use the iGen in the daytime! Tons of things are fully adjustable, including viewing color, exposure, brightness. There's also "auto off" options to saves the 4 AA batteries when you forget to power off yourself.
