The incredibly versatile Ultravibe® Speed Craw from Zoom® can be effectively fished alone on a Carolina rig or rigged as a trailer on your favorite flippin' jig. The Speed Craw's high-action tentacles tantalizingly flutter on the fall bringing the bigger bass out of the deepest cover for a look-see and an inevitable strike.

  • Incredibly versatile
  • Can be fished alone or on a rig
  • High-action tentacles

Great bait This has been a great early spring bass bait for me over the last three seasons. It works throughout the year but seem's to really shine during April and May. I rig it Texas style and on days bulkier jigs aren't producing they seem to really like this smaller bait. It works as flipping bait as well. Pumpkin spice, white pearl and watermelon candy have been my favorite colors. June 10, 2010
Ultravibe speed craw I recently bought a pack of these and i love 'em. I use texas rigged with an 1/8 bullet sinker and works very well. I have caught bluegills, smallies, and largmouth on them, and even a turtle. These work well for me in the creek and in the lake. May 18, 2010
My Favorite Craws Ever... These craws along with the Zoom Super Speed Craws are the best I've ever used. They have the best action in the water than any other to me. I use the Pumpkinseed and Junebug only. Very good jig trailers or finesse baits also. April 23, 2010
Go-to bait I always keep a tackle box full of these. I have had luck on black/red flake in prespawn and blueberry in late spring and early summer. I can catch fish any time of the day in any conditions with these. This is my go to bait i throw this bait first cast thru last around all kinds of structure. Excellent bait April 13, 2010

A:
Yes. Depending on the water clarity/color, almost all the colors work. I try to match color based on water conditions as said above and by what live baits are in the water, i.e. minnows, craws, frogs, etc.

A:
Yes, Scuppernong has a big following among Zoom anglers and with the success of Watermelon Candy; this new candy version will be a welcome addition. This great “earthy” color will be effective in both clear and stained water conditions. Thanks

Yes. When these get worn out or torn up you can use the bottom half for jigs or trailers or be inventive and "Frankenstein" several different pieces and colors together.

A:
I think the Ultravibe speedcraw is more versatile. In certain situations when bass are sluggish and just aren't quite as aggressive, i'll bite off the back inch of the craw and allow for those short hits to be in the boat. However when they are hitting ...it's still a killer of a lure. Never....never fails.

I like a sleek bait, the super speed craw has too much drag and feels like you have some grass dragging on the bait.

A:
Regular Speed craw is the right choice. small compact easy to use. Tons of action. The super craw is hard to cast because of all the plastic. and it doesnt have great action.

I've fished both and got twice as many bits on the ultarvib. Bigger fish will probably be caught on the speed craw early in the year, the second half of the year fish the ultravib.
