I fish early season January - February for Potomac River walleye. These are my go - to baits for those cold water fish. I have a large supply on hand of the four inch baits. The walleyes eat these up! As the season progresses I have taken many nice smallmouth as well. These baits are a 'confidence bait' for me.

Zoom grubs are hands down the best lures for bass. I was big on senkos until I found zoom grubs. These and the fat alberts outfish senkos hands down. Fish cant resist the action on these things. They last pretty long when texas rigged. I dont quite understand the people that say these are not durable. They are a soft plastic, they're not supposed to last forever. The softness is the reason these things work so well. If you don't like that they rip go buy a crankbait and catch 1/10 of what you would with these. The price on these is very reasonable as well. Ive recommended these to all my fishing buddies.

The best grub period! I use these Texas rigged with a 1/0 EWG hook, usually in the glimmer blue color. This setup is now my number one river smallmouth producer. When you Texas rig a grub, rig it with the tail up and it will not twist the line. Don't ask me why, but it works. I use a 3/8 oz. bullet on my texas rigs with this in rivers and hop it off bottom, rip it through weeds, twitch and reel, and just slow reel it in. These thins are so versatile and snagless on a Texas rig. The tail on these gives unbelievable action that the smallmouths just can't resist. My goto grub for a Texas rig was a Kalins 5" grub- it has now been replaced! Best yet.... The price!
