The world's most popular soft jerkbait now sports a high-action swimming paddle tail. The Zoom® Swimmin' Super Fluke™ is a true swimmer and is recommended for schooling bass or as a search tool that's handy for locating fish. For schoolies busting on top, try burning an unweighted Swimmin' Super Fluke just under the surface; hang on for smashing strikes. When they sound, quickly thread a fresh bait onto a weighted swim hook and run it deeper in the water column to pick up a few more. It also serves as an outstanding spinnerbait trailer. The Zoom Swimmin' Super Fluke's soft texture also makes it perfect for rigging with a buried hook for weedless applications. Generously salt-impregnated to hold the bite. Made in USA.

  • High-action paddle tail
  • Can be worked quickly
  • Outstanding for schooling bass
  • Also great as a search lure
  • Super-soft, yet durable
  • Salt-impregnated to hold the bite

Year after year, Zoom Baits remain the hottest soft plastics in bass fishing. Zoom soft baits are legendary for their uncanny fish-producing ability, and rare is the tournament angler who will leave the dock without a good supply in the boat. Wholly realistic, super-soft to the touch, and salt-impregnated, Zoom soft baits have the look, the action, and the flavor needed to make fish bite down hard, and fight to hang on.

Zoom® Soft Plastic Baits - Swimmin' Super Fluke 4.4 5 25 25
Zoom Swimmin Super Fluke Excellent action when fished weightless. Schooling bass love it! August 24, 2012
It must be mis-named becaue This little dandy will pull the largemouth out from structure or from under weeds or pads in the middle of a hot afternoon and become aggressive feeders. It works equally well in deeper waters for smallmouth bass August 14, 2012
great! my second fav bass bait. (my first is the super fluke). seems to work better in still water than the super flukes. durability is a little bit of a problem August 11, 2012
Poor Durability These baits have excellent action, but have very poor durability. Be prepared to repair baits or dish out cash to have enough of these on hand for an entire fishing trip. July 3, 2012

A:
Try speeding up or slowing down during your retrive. Just reel them in slowly and yes the paddle tail is worth the money.

Yes to paddletail w/bass & crappie. Try quick initial retrieve on top water, let sink n lie for 30sec, then slow retrieve like a worm.Carolina rig or bullet wt with wormsaver best.

A:
I primarily fish small shallow ponds near my house ... and I fish it weightless using a weedless hook. I simply let it fall, then a slow pull and pause retrieval.

I also like and have used the regular Flukes, but after using these and with the success I've had ... I'm hooked!!

Yes, they cost more, and maybe you would have just as much luck with a regular Fluke. But, I'm a big believer that you fish better when you fish baits with which you have confidence, and right now, there is no similar bait that I am more confident using.

Get some weighted swimbait hooks and pretty much cast and retrieved like a spinnerbait.I like the 4/0 Owner beast hook 1/8th oz and it has a center pin to help keep it straight. Also skin hook it.

They work exactly like a regular fluke but they seem to be a better attractant because of the tail action

No. The truth is that Senkos do the work for you. Throw it out and let it hit the bottom. The strikes occur on the drop about 95% of the time so be ready. If there is no strike, raise the rod tip from the 9 o'clock position to 12 and let it fall again. All you want to do is raise the bait off the bottom a few feet and let it fall again. Don't jerk it because you kill the action. Oh, just stick with the original Senko because I really don't think that the paddle tails are worth the money either. By the way, the fluke is awesome. Good luck.
