i decided to use a chartreuse glitter trailer on a 3/0 wide gap hook, with a 3/16 ounce weight and i kept on catching bass on just this lure alone, nothing else added.

I have been using Zoom Split tail Trailers for years . They will float. I put them on Spinnerbaits, Buzzbaits Spoons. The action really makes the bait look alive.When they short striking put one on, it will help.
