This worm has the best tail action that I have seen in a worm in years. If you used the old Gator Tail years ago and liked it, then try this worm.
You can fish it slow when the fish are on Crawfish and they will jump on it.
The tail tends to float up and I believe that is what helps to trigger the bite.
The only draw back I see is that you must keep the worm straight on the hook, because just like other action tail worms, it WILL twist your line.
But I will still use this worm when the fish are feeding on Crawfish everytime.

This is a very solid bait selection. This worm has a very tough body, making re-use very possible and hook skinning is much easier. . I can catch multiple fish on the same worm, and sometimes save the worm for my next trip. The G-tail provides very good action, and displaces more water in my opinion. I tend to have more success with this than a standard ribbon tail. The only draw back is it isn't scented, which I prefer. Easily cared for buy adding my favorite brand of scent before taking it for a swim.

Retired on Lake Hawkins in East Texas...The red shad color does very well in October thru January here. Its a good bait but thats the only time I seriously fish it. Grape does much better the other months of the year. I swim this bait in 2 to 3 foot hops letting it fall back to the bottom. Deadly.
