Zoom® Dead Ringer Worm
Saw it on TV
I've been fishing the ring worm since the late 1970's and caught a lot of fish on it over the years. I only use four or five colors and thought I'd give the chartreuse another chance. Used to use them in the winter and early spring especially and it caught fish. However, the other colors gradually took over the bulk of my fishing, especially the green pumpkin. A guy fishing the Mississippi River on TV used the chartreuse as his go to bait and rekindled my interest in using it once again. Zoom makes the best soft plastics on the market and even though the Dead Ringer has been around for 30+ years, it still catches fish and is my go to bait.

Great Zoom Product
The Big Dead tail has tons of action, I throw it on a Carolina rig to offshore structure or around points and on a Texas rig if I am fishing heavy cover

Great bait perfect size
I have always used the 8" dead ringers for fishing deeper grass but this summer I found it to be great at flipping shallow cover. The ribs on the worms allow the bait to work thru the grass and wood cover because the ribs help hide the hook point.

Recently finished third in a 2-day co-ed tournament on Ky Lake---fished both days with the Big Dead Ringer and caught all keepers on it (LOTS)...came in third place---GREAT bait! Highly recommend it. Tried a straight tail shakey head/finesse style and no results...switched worms and BINGO!!!
