Rabbit strips have always been limited from effective use on small flies because of the length of the hair. Pine squirrel strips address that limitation. This is essential for Barr's Slumpbuster which catches some big trout. Makes a very realistic leech pattern, also (see: Fly Tyer-Winter '10). Quite easy to work with. Great for mini streamers size 6 -10. Natural color is the most versatile.
