Rated 1 out of 5 by Did not adhere I got these vanes to try my hand at fletching my own with a friends Helix Jig... Well the jig worked great but the cement had a "bubbly" look when dried and did not work at all. The first time I shot an arrow fletched like this two of the vanes blew off at impact and the arrow "buzzed" while in flight. I thought I had done something wrong... Then I got some blazer vanes, used the same prep and assembly and it was like the blazers grew out of the shaft. Try look cool but have an obvious material incompatibility with the cement that needs to be addressed. January 2, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by zeon vanes well thought i found the bad boy too, i am like most the others we are pretty dry in north texas, these vanes do not adhere, i used three kinds of glue, including platinum, i used fletch prep, i scored the shafts. i tried double glue, and gluing after they sat in fletch jig for 20 mins. I have never had vane issues before like this. even after they came out of the fletch jig you could see where they did not adhere to the shafts. I have tried on blue streaks, Maxima hunters, and PSE shafts. I give up, only thing i did not try was epoxy. Anyway i think the smoothness and the slickness of the material is the cause maybe they should try a more adhering fletch base. We have even tried all the diff. glues whe have in the store for customers and same complaint, even tried the single fletching jig to no avail. you can get some to stick and they are fine but its a pain to have to figure out which ones are going to hold. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not my first choice Had a dozen carbon express 350’s fletched with these, lost the first vane after 3 shots, lost another shortly after that. 30 min and 6 of the dozen arrows had lost a vain. Like I said not my first choice. February 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by I like them! My wife bought these for Christmas so I could repair some of our target arrows. I have read some of the other reviews but I have found no problems refleching with this product. We have only been shooting these for a couple of weeks now and have discovered that they shoot alot straighter in the wind. Here in Colorado we always have a little wind. If you already have a fletching tool go ahead and experiement, I think you will like it. January 12, 2012
