I bought 3 rods, one had the tip broken when I received it. The other two worked very well could only use two at a time any way. Have not returned it yet, don't think there will be a problem

this rod and reel combo is ideal for beginners , I bought this for my nephew for Christmas this year and he loves it ,and he is only 3 years old ,he has no problem casting ,and the best thing is seeing the smile on his face.. I do recommend this combo for beginners

I don't understand what the measurements mean. Also, how long are the rods? Are they 2 piece?

Based on the model number and second image at the top of the page, I would say that they are 8, 10, and 12 feet long respectively. The model numbers seem to refer to the product: BillDanceCrappieSpinCast##XX where ## is the feet/inches and XX is the power. That seems to be Bass Pro's standard model number naming procedure so if you see that on other combos/rods, it probably still applies.BDCSC46L = 4 foot 6 inches, Light
