They need to make this kind of reel better, they make all the others better, why not this kind of reel. These are cheap made and have been for years. It's time to make one that works and has a better longer life and dont mess up the first time or two you use them.We spend more money going back to the store to change it out for a nother one thats no better that that one.And these days gas is not cheap. The quality is no good and we all know they can do better.Even the kids like a good quality reel to fish with. They look good, but they need to perform good and last longer. They are not durable like they should be.

The ZEBCO 606 with 20 LB Line has proved great for my use. It is not Fishing !!
I use it with a tennis ball launcher system to put ropes high up in trees to hold my Ham Radio Antennas.
The 20 LB Line can pull up a 3/16" dacron main line easily. I had been using a 12 LB Line with a #476 Abumatic. (This has less resistance and can shoot higher) but. the 606 does a good job up to 60 Ft. up in trees. The #476 will shoot up to 100 Ft..
but requires pulling up an intermediate 200 LB line to do the final main line pull. Works great for a GREAT Price.

This is a great catfish reel for the price, Its makes an amazing back up reel for a great reel for a beginner or bargain fisher man, I have one paired with a shakespeare ugly stik and just landed a 14 lb channel on it today out of my pond like it was nothing, im sure it would handle a 30 pounder with little to no problems as well, heck in the right hands maybe a 50 pounder
