Great for catching bait I am an avid trophy catfish angler and i use this combo to catch small bream for bait and it works great. For the price you cant be disappointed. August 5, 2012
Zebco 202 Spincast Rod & Reel Considering that 2 of the 3 rods and reels that I purchased did not work out of the box, I need direction on how to return these defective items. Please advise. Thx. April 23, 2012
Good starter combo I'm new to fishing so I thought I would start out with a simple combo, Zebco has not disappointed me. It has a great feel and is well worth the 14.99 I paid for it. As I get more advanced I will continue to look towards Zebco for more quality rods and reels. October 7, 2011
Good for Children I purchased two of these combos in order to take my twin five year old daughters fishing for panfish at a local lake. While we've been out with them only once, so far we have no complaints. Albeit, not an equipment problem per se, one combo arrived with the reel cover off and line all unwound all over the box, but that wasn't a problem to fix. I'm not sure that I'd want to go after much more than panfish, but that's probably just me, as I tend to prefer slightly heavier/stronger gear than what could actually be used in the situation (belt and suspenders approach).
