I was really looking forward to trying this chatterbait. I own several of the pro and original models, but not in the midnight/black color. It looks just as amazing as the picture and the action is great. However... the hook is not sharp at all and is about the same quality as the original series. I thought the pro models had sharper hooks? I own some that came sharp out of the box. Very disappointed since I have lost fish on the originals due to poor hook penetration. If I loose fish on this lure due to the poor hook, I will change my rating to 5 minus!

I love these chatterbaits. I have the pro 2 model in a blue and black color. They are a deadly night fishing bait. Combine these with a lake fork magic shad and your set. You can get a big bait for big bass that swims great. My problem with this bait was that over half the fish i was hooking were easily throwing the hook no matter how well you fought them, so a trailer hook is a must. It send out a lot of vibration and is pretty weedless making a great bait.

Toss it out there......There is no wrong way to fish this lure.......Vary your retrieve while you cast by weed lines.
They are an effective lure probably not seen by the fish as often as spinnerbaits and jigs.
What counts is.... They catch fish !!!

I fished in Venice Louisiana this past weekend and caught numerous Bass on it. I even caught 2 large Red Fifsh (both over 26") all with out changing the bait. This bait is very durable and it works great right out of the box! Add a Z-Man ElaZ-Tech MinnowZ with a lil super glue, and hold on!
ThankZ Z-Man, This is one fine bait!
