Put your new Money Frog where the bass’s mouth is and hang on! Churning paddle feet displace lots of water, bringing in biting bass from afar. Features beautiful hand-painted color patterns and a belly slit for easy rigging.
Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I expected I would use this frog as a buzz bait but that's it. Most frogs float, however, this frog sinks just bellow the surface, which lets the bait move outside the strike zone faster. February 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Yum money frog I found the frog to have very good action on the surface and had a decent bubble trail regardless of which side the bait lands and retrieves on. The only thing I disliked about the bait was the underside of the frog tends to rip length wise after a good hook set. Which will then allow the hook to backslide on future cast. July 12, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by cast a mile, but doesn't float This frog looks the part and you can sling it a mile. No need for a weighted hook. I just wish it would float so you could keep it in the strike zone longer. I haven't fished it a whole lot, but I imagine it will catch some big fish. Great action as a buzzbait in open water but a few fish an the lure is done. July 6, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by good frog but not great this is a nice frog me and my friend wanted to try fishing topwater baits because we fish alot of pads and can never caught anything in the pads so we tryed them out i caught my first topwater fish today on the iggy color what i did is take the laminate coating off it gives it a smaller profile more action and reflects light better May 5, 2011

It will sink. I used an unweighted 5/0 hook and if I stopped the retrieve, it slowly sank.

Nope it doesn't float and you do have to use it like a buzzbait, don't even by it, buy the rage toad buy strike king it doesn't float but the action is great. If you want to get a frog that floats and has good action buy the floating Stanley Ribbit frog.

A:
All soft plastic frogs will sink when you stop your retrieve. This will allow you to stop it in the holes, when fishing the grass. Just stop it and let it sink down in clearwater areas inside the grassline

neither, a frog needs to float. I have tried both, but if I had to choose it would be the toad, as they are cheaper.

Depends on which sized frog you get. Get a sharp sturdy hook. 4/0 and get a hook about as long as the frogs nose to butt.

A:
The Money Frog works great on a 7/0 EWG hook. Wet the hook so it slides through smoothly and Texas rig it. Like other topwater frogs pause for a second after the strike and then set the hook and hang on!!
