  • Infused with Yum's F2 bass attractant
  • Won't dry and shrivel up when left out of the package
  • Ribbed body with active legs and ''hammerhead'' tail

The Yum F2 Salleemander is a lizard with active legs and a 'hammerhead'' at the end of a tail, which makes it swim like the Yum Money Minnow. A soft swim bait with a ribbed body and realistic swimming action, the Yum F2 Salleemander could start a feeding frenzy on looks alone. However, the F2 Salleemander has also been infused with F2, a unique and powerful scent which is extremely effective on bass. Unlike any other attractant-injected bait, the Yum F2 Salleemander retains its suppleness and ''swimability,'' even when left out of the package. Independently tested by the University of Mississippi to be 30 percent more effective on bass than the leading attractant, Yum F2 attractant is touted for its long-lasting effectiveness and continuous dispersal of scent.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Action The F2 Salleemander is full of action with the hammerhead tail. This tail design has action with the smallest amount of movement. August 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Realistic and effective bait On a very slow day I was digging through my plastics trying to find something-anything-that might entice a strike. I came across a bag of Yum salleemanders that I had forgotten about. I had never used the lure before. I swam the lure back a ways and paused to pull out a line over run. This resulted in a good strike but I could not set the hook because the reel was not engaged. I continued to cast and dead stick and caught several bass over the next hour. The water was very clear and I could see the bait when it got near me. It acts real. I used it with a 1/16 ounce split bullet weight and a 3/0 worm hook. Desperation has caused me to find new bait many times. The Saleemander is great. July 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Lizard I bought these lizards in a bargain bin at my local sporting goods store. I'm glad I did. I used them this past weekend at a lake I have only fished two times, and they produced for me. Nice action on a Texas rig, or as a topwater. I was throwing "Black Neon". July 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good looking soft plastic Yum has really taken the lizard a step farther. The salleemander looks awesome in the water. The legs and tale push off some serious water. It's like they took the idea of a paddle tail swim bait and put 5 on a lizard. When you swim this lure through the grass it really SWIMS. Then when you stop it, it really stands up well and can be twitched to entice a bite. I haven't used this lure a bunch yet, but it should catch some big fish. Yum's F2 scent is an added bonus. Just started Using the Salemander; 3/0 hook
1/16 oz split bullet weight, Carolina rig. Cast, let it sit for 10-20 seconds then swim and stop it back. Great lure.

I use the Yum dinger a lot; Carolina rigged or wacky. Use a 3/0 or 4/0 hook with out a weight. Good results dead sticking as well as bouncing over weeds or the bottom. Don't hurry. When the dinger gets torn up use it wacky style.

Ive been doing a texas rig using a 2/0 hook. You can fish them just like a dinger, or a top water with a quicker retrieve
