The Tundra from Yeti® Coolers are built to keep your food and drinks cold longer while handling the bumps and bruises of your outdoor activities. One of the best insulated coolers on the market, the Tundra features 2'' of polyurethane foam insulation in the walls and lid, and a freezer quality sealing gasket to lock in the cold for long-term ice retention. Impressive durability is delivered by Yeti's one piece, roto-molded construction and design. This top quality cooler also offers many other Yeti features, like food grade material construction, dry ice compatible, non-slip rubber feet, recessed leak-proof drain plug, dry goods rack, and a lockable lid design. Heavy-duty T-latches with molded-in keepers fasten the lid securely closed. Molded-in, full-length, self-stopping hinges mean you never have to replace a hinge again. Strong rope handles make carrying the Tundra easier, while locking this cooler to a deck or boat is made easier with built-in slots for tie-down capabilities. The outer dimensions of the various Tundra models match many popular marine coolers, making it easy for you to upgrade your old marine cooler. 30-1/2'' x 17-1/8'' x 16-1/4''. 27 lbs.
YETI Tundra ice chests have been thoroughly tested by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee (IGBC) of the US Forest Service in both controlled simulations and with wild grizzly bears. YETI Tundra coolers met IGBC requirements and have been officially approved by the IGBC as a bear resistant container for use on public lands occupied by grizzlies!

This is the best cooler i have ever owned .Bought it in the spring and it holds ice a long time. Took it to the lake and put in 2 bags of ice on drinks in 90degree sun on the pontoon held ice a week with us getting in and out of it.

Purchased this cooler yesterday. Iced down drinks with 2 bags of ice. Today the ice is almost all thawed. Haven't left the lid open either...The drain plug has leaked some too. Good looking cooler but that's it. A cheap styrofoam cooler would keep drinks cooler longer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by offthebeatenpath Over-priced, Poor service
I was excited to get my new Yeti, but was very disappointed with the outcome. Straight out of the box, my Yeti had a small leak near the drain plug. I called Yeti and was given a return number and instructed to ship it back to Yeti at my expense and they would tak a look at it. After I boxed up the cooler, took it to UPS, and paid my money ($40) to ship it back to Yeti, I got no response. I followed up and they did eventually send me a new cooler, but the experience was really poor.
My replacement cooler is water tight and it does hold ice longer than a cheap cooler, but I have seen no appreciable difference in this cooler and other 'top of the line' coolers. Unless you are worried about bears, I would recommend the Igloo Marine Cooler or the Colman Extreme for a fraction of the price.
Yeti does a great job marketing, but marginal, over-priced product with poor service.

This was the 3rd yeti cooler that I have purchased, and I have yet to have any problems. The only suggestion I have for anyone, is to purchase they lock assembly for this cooler if you plan on ever leaving it in the bed of a truck.
Ice retention amazing.
