I like this item but found the keeper a little less likely to hold bait. Not sure why. The design looks like other baits with the same keeper. Hook ups also were an issue. I watched the jighead in the water and it looked like it performed fine. I gave it a 4 of 5 stars only because of the keeper issue.

hard to think Edwin Evers really uses this head. One strike and the bait comes off the keeper. Luck "e" strike 1/8 oz. has a bigger longer stronger bait keeper.
pulled the coil to make it longer and that helped a small amount but really needs another full turn of loop.

First off, thank you for coming out with a shakey head with a 6/0 hook!
I feel like Yum put together a high quality product until it comes to the "keeper." That thing is garbage! If you snag it or catch a bass of any size, you will actually straighten the "keeper" out.
I'd rather pay and extra $.10-$.20 to get an all around quality product instead of skimping on the "keeper."

i got the 1/4 oz in 3/0 and 5/0 hook sizes. the 5/0 is great, have caught a lot of fish with beaver and hog baits. the 3/0 works but ive lost several good fish because they didnt eat it very well. overall a good shaky head
