Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Tubes i have ever used! Tubes are by far my go to lure to catch Bass. I have owned every kind of tube you could possibly imagine. But these tubes are very effective and very durable. I Texas rigged them weedless flip them into heavy cover or use them in grass beds. I also use them on flats, slopes and old roadbeds for small mouth. i recently went out and hooked into two nice size fish in a small local pond with these. Along with alot more after the first two nice fish. Picture to the right is the first one. August 24, 2011

I had just written a review for a bitsy tube when I answered earlier, you need a 3/0 hook minimum for this big a tube.

I used a dropshot rig: 1/0 offset hook positioned about halfway down the centipede and also used a 3/16 oz finesse weight. Caught largemouth easily.

1/0 black hook I use owner the red 1/0 hooks I ordered were too big. 1/4 oz lead bullet weight performs well in current and to dephts of 10 or so feet.

A:
I tried to rig the jighead through the top of the tube and it did not work well, so I moved down and side rigged the jighead and it worked fine. You might want to tie the line onto the jighead first, then insert the jighead.
