This downsized version has same great water-chugging action and sharp, fish-catching colors as the Heddon Pop'n Image, plus an extra-loud hollow bead rattle. Sporting a finely detailed finish, the Pop'n Image Jr. is equipped with premium, dressed rotating treble hooks. Length: 2-3/8". Hook size 6. Model X9219

Rated 5 out of 5 by great lure...... i have used this lure on meny fishing trips and it has allways cought bass.... great color this year i am planning to buy several more. this lure works well on the surface pops loud and calls them in with exciteing strikes...... i seen they make this in gold color want to try it for smallmouth i did order one of thouse but havent got to try it out yet i am sure i wont be disapointed ........ Rated 3 out of 5 by average The original spittin' image is an awesome lure. The popn image jr is average. Its listed under Xcalibur because it comes with Xcalibur hooks. But it is only offered in a few colors. It pops well but can't be worked like a rebel pop-r or xcalibur zellpop. The back hook is not really "feathered" like most Xcalibur lures. Overall, it's a solid average lure with great hooks, too few colors, and average action. It will catch fish just not a pretty as something else. July 12, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great popper! This popper is versatile, and casts very well on a baitcast reel. It can make a little blip to a loud plunk, and walks the dog very well. Catches bigger bass on average than any other popper I have. Always carry this popper, as well as the skitterpop! June 2, 2011

I would go with the baby bass, I have caught largemouth using it on top and also reeling it in very quickly just beneath the surface.
