Awesome bag, plenty of room, very durable, and I love the fact that you can wear it like a backpack.

I have used this bag for several fishing trips now and i think its great as far as storage and convenience goes. Durability not so much. While i would recommend this to a friend or family member i would strongly caution those buying this bag that all the zippers are complete junk! They hang up constantly and one completely broke already. Love the bag for the buck! Hate the zippers

This bag has its Pros and Cons. Overall the bag is great, i need more lures to fill the boxes up and more gear to fill the pockets. it is very comfortable while wearing and travels nicely.
BUT, the color is less than desirable. It is a little big to take on quick trips so i always have a smaller pack that i can take a few boxes from this bigger one. and the only other thing i have a problem with is that the main zipper catches and gets stuck around the curves/corners. only time will tell how long it will last.

Best fishing bag I have ever had. A ton of storage space for extra outside the box stuff. Extra plier compartments are perfect. I have used this bag 2 years now and it is envied by my fishing partner. THE BACK PACK STRAPS BEST FEATURE EVER! I just ordered one for my fishing buddy since he has been eying mine for 2 steelhead seasons now. The features are packed into this thing and is soooooo worth every penny you pay. In fact I would pay more for it if I had to. Buy this bag and never look back! I even love the colors BOISE STATE BLUE AND ORANGE....GO BRONCO's.

Above the 4 exterior pockets are 4 straps with cinch buckles. What is their intended purpose?

I can not address the intended purposes..... But I use them. For hand rags and extra bottles of water or soda.A:Â
They are rod carriers. You can use them to lash your rods to the bag when you go for a hike instead of carrying them. I've lashed down 4 rods at a time to mine for hikes around Quincy Res. in Aurora.Q:Â

Would you recommend this tackle bag or the KVD plano Signature series tackle system???

A:Â
I contemplated both and this met my needs more. I fish both rivers and lakes. Both from shore and on boats and this had the versatility I wanted and needed. Love the bag and don't plan to buy another one EVER!A:Â
i havent tried the KVD plano tackle system, however im loving the BPS XPS Stalker tackle bag it comes in handy with the backpack straps for long walks to the fishing hole.Images for this Answer

as far as i can tell they hold up pretty good i was out deep see fishing and gor salt water all over the bag its been about a month and the zippers are fine.Top 500 Contributor

I have used it almost exclusively in salt water. The zippers are thick and smooth, made entirely of plastic and easy to pull. Even if you get sand in them wash with water will help remove. Don't worry about hurting the bag, it is VERY durableDetails:Â
i want ot say there are two because of the pics but i want to be sure.Answers

yeah there's only two, but I think it won't be as stable when you wear it like a backpackTop 500 Contributor

Yes. I have had saltwater poured all over mine several times. It is still the same color and the salt didn't harm the thick plastic zipperA:Â
I have owned two of these bags ( just different colors ) and have found that when saltwater gets on the aluminum zippers they corroded to the point that I was unable to open them without mechanical assistance. Great bag, Just needs different material for the zipper'sQ:Â

Does anyone know how compatible the Falcon FTO boxes are with this bag. I really don't want to have to buy all new boxes.

it does fit i believe in most boats i have been on tracker and nitro boats and it fits in bothA:Â
I'm confident it will. I use this and a small binder bag on my trips in the back of my buddy's boat. its good to have enough tackle cause u just lose sleep when you're missing out because you couldnt squeeze in those extra boxes.
