This line is supple, yet strong. The price makes it a good buy for us that go thru a lot of line on our panfish outfits as we fish brushpiles, rocks etc.

i have been using the 10LB test on my spinning
and wow. for the price you cant get better, with little issues, come on there is no perfect line, in my thought the strength and handling is great. it works great for leaders when i pre tie hooks for bottom fishing with 20lb mono main line.
to me the pros out way the cons, with the line, I hope the 12lb test work well as the 10 on the same reel
i hope you alest give it a try

For the money spent....excellent mono !
Only used for topwater action, but good nontheless.

There was a sale on XPS mono this spring so I loaded up on 12,14,17 lb test line. Good service, good price, fast delivery, it spooled nicely - but! After the first couple weeks of fishing, I was shaking my head at the number of fish I had missed. (One bass I actually launched airborn for 3 feet and he still swam off) The amount of stretch in this line makes is a poor choise for bass fishing. I went back to a different mono line and the problem was is solved.

Stopped at the local Bass Pro and checked the boxes. It seems to be the same as Trilene XT:6 lb.=0.25 mm
8 lb.=0.31 mm
10 lb.=0.33 mm
12 lb.=0.36 mm
14 lb.=0.38 mm
17 lb.=0.43 mm
20 lb.=0.48 mm
