Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 74 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best Purchase Ever Excellent convenient bag, but color - awful ! I will recolour orange tapes on my bag March 11, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Iffy OK...Let me start off by saying yes, this bag is hideous when it comes to color. BPS should've stuck with last yrs color of ash grey and red. I've read in other reviews as far as people saying that the color of the bag would keep the more "serious angler" away. I am a very serious angler and I care less about the color just as long as it holds all my gear. As far as other reviews go, I really don't know where everybody is finding all this room in the bag. NO, I do not carry everything but the kitchen sink!! All of my cases are the falcon fto cases, which everybody knows they are a lot thinner than the 3700. With that being said, I still need more room!! I agree with what steelerzfan had said..they should have done away with the spooling station on the side of the bag and put another big pocket. As far as the 2 small pockets on each side, they should of made 1 big pocket on both sides of the bag. If this bag had 4 big pockets besides the main compartment, I would have given this bag a 5. My rating would have been a 2 if it wasn't for the backpack option. Color of the bag made no differnce as far as rating goes. Even if it was pink, and held all my gear like others have posted, I still would of bought it. Let me give you an idea of storage in the main compartment. I have 1 falcon 700 series spinner and buzzbait combo case, 1 falcon 700 series topwater case, 1 falcon 700 series deep diver case, 1 700 series lipless crank case, 1 400 crankbait case, 400 series hook case, and a falocn jig wallet. After that being said, I wish there was a little more room!! For those of you that don't know about falcon cases, for your standard 3700 case, I can't fit 2 falcon cases. That's why I wish there was 4 big pockets on the outside of the bag to hold plastics. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A LOT OF GEAR, THIS BAG IS FOR YOU March 5, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by great bag This is an awesome product. The hard sunglasses case on top is very convenient. There is room for a lot of stuff in the side pouches also. The backpack straps are the main reason I went with this bag over others and it was a great decision. But even with all that my favorite part is the rain cover that it comes with. I use it also if i want to put the bag down on the ground but don't want to get it dirty. I have it in grey with red trim. I'm not too fond of the flashy blue and orange but if you don't mind it definitely this bag is worth every penny. February 17, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ultimate tackle bag This is one of BPS better products IMO. It can handle anything you have and is perfect for those trips into thick bush or a canoe. If you're concerned about the color, don't be. I BOUGHT A SHARPIE MAGNUM AND COVERED UP ALL THE ORANGE. It fades slightly with some use, but otherwise holds up and I think it makes the bag look sharp - no pun indended. If you're sitting on the fence because of the color, don't. This bag is too good especially on sale! Just get a Sharpie and customize it. February 16, 2011

They are rod carriers. You can use them to lash your rods to the bag when you go for a hike instead of carrying them. I've lashed down 4 rods at a time to mine for hikes around Quincy Res. in Aurora.

To hold longer items outside the bag that won't fit inside. Like a sand spike. Or I use mine to hold a collapsible rod used for fishing snappers.

I contemplated both and this met my needs more. I fish both rivers and lakes. Both from shore and on boats and this had the versatility I wanted and needed. Love the bag and don't plan to buy another one EVER!

I have used it almost exclusively in salt water. The zippers are thick and smooth, made entirely of plastic and easy to pull. Even if you get sand in them wash with water will help remove. Don't worry about hurting the bag, it is VERY durable

I'm confident it will. I use this and a small binder bag on my trips in the back of my buddy's boat. its good to have enough tackle cause u just lose sleep when you're missing out because you couldnt squeeze in those extra boxes.
