Should be good for at least 10 years I originally bought the stalker backpack travel bag but I returned it for this one (I know a lot of complaints were about the zipper, I ordered mine it was fine but I did notice some at the store jammed). Each of the stalker bags were nice but it just depends on what suits you. I don't walk far enough to fish where I would need a backpack, most of my fishing is on boat, distance I do walk is not over a mile, and I need a bass/crappie bag. This bag is probably the best bag out there for the bass fisher. I get compliments every time someone goes through my tackle. More than enough room for bait and rigging platform is genius. I use half of the bags in the rigging system for worms and the other side for spinners so much you can do with it, its really convenient. With the big 3700 tackle boxes I have room for more different kinds of lure, probably BPS idea to get us to buy more lures to fill it : ) Suggestions: Its a little too big. Order it online because all the bags at the store in my location were dirty because A LOT of people do mess with it, each bag that was available was in display condition. I wish there was a better spot to put bobbers, my crappie tackle and bass tackle are together, I wanted one of the main side pockets zipped half way only instead of all the way down I have kids that fish with me sometimes and get into my tackle, I need the bobbers to be in a convenient location and when they get it they sometimes open it all the way down and I lose items here and there when they fall slip out. And I'm sort of worried about the side plastic net pockets, I want this bag to last a long time and not sure how well that material can take a beating from the sun before crusting up and breaking. Again this is just my knick picks of a really nice bag. I'm confident enough to say this bag is the best bag in the market right now, aside if you have other out of the norm accommodations you must have like a water bottle holders and stuff like that. Lotta Tackle Box Love the rubber worm bags, easy access and organization. Plier holder in the right spot, sunglasses pocket like I've never seen, so cool. Wish it had a water bottle slot and coil chords for rod. March 30, 2014
Very useful nice looking, well designed, nice colors, strong build October 14, 2013
Great looking, poor performing I was very excited about this bag as a one-bag-fits-all option. The rigging tray is great and the individual zip lock bags for soft baits are also a nice addition. My fishing buddies all talked about going and buying one when they saw it. All was fine and good until the zipper on the main compartment literally became un-stitched on my second day out with the bag. The bag is poorly constructed, and I find myself clipping loose strings on the bag all the time. I want to return the bag, but hate the hassle and extra cost/time involved with the process (I don't live near any BassPro's). It's too bad that such a nice bag and great design can go so bad from poor construction. May 1, 2013

I stand mine up. You could lay them flat, but there is excess room in the bag then and the boxes will roam around sling around in the bag and make a bunch of noise. I have 5 3700 boxes in the main compartment and a falcon 401 spinnerbait box in one of the side compartments. They all fit great and the bag is very well made.

A:
you have to buy them separately. they used to have an option that you could buy them with the boxes for a higher price, but not anymore. I think BPS has a sale on their line now for $5.50 or so. Good boxes for about 2 dollars less.

No it does not, but I have gotten mine pretty wet in the rain on the boat and it has not been affected by it. The bottom is waterproof too so if you set it in water it will not get soaked.
