I don't usually have trouble with fishing line but this brand doesn't come off the spool good like some other brands do. I end up with a mess and it doesn't make any difference the strength of the line. I bought 5 sizes and they all do the same thing. I've taken line off the top of the spool and the bottom. No difference.

Have not fished with it yet. Bought 12lb line and while spooling it had a lot of twisting, tangling and knotting issues. Hopefully it performs better on the water. Not a lot of confidence in product so far.

Between the Excel and XPS I choose the Excel.. In fishing the same body of water with both had two smallies breakoff with the XPS The line seems to be un-uniform and more prone to nicking..Sorry may work for others in different conditions, but for myself the 6pd in creeks just doesnt fly..Tight Lines
