Bought 2 combos for my girls. Drags worked great, unlike other reviews. Nice rod as well.

This is a nice rod, but the reel is junk. Bought this for my 9 year old grandson. The reel was junk right out of the box. Drag does not work. Very disappointed.

I wanted to get my four year old a nicer combo, so I sprang for the Skeet Reese. Just as I suspected (I was trying to think positively), the reel's drag wont adjust. I was really against buying this since it is pretty much just an Eagle Claw combo, and I got what I suspected, JUNK.

Bought this fory 6 yyr. old great grand-son. It was well packaged but the reel was stiff and very difficult to wind. I have contacted Wright & McGill and am waiting their response. I know I could return it to BPS if I could pry it out of the little fellows hand.
