Rated 4 out of 5Â by GFMtn Great Pants for Price
This was my second time purchasing these pants for our nature staff. They are tough on pants but the pants held up. Super breathable and comfy. I'm a size 6 and the smalls fit great but my colleague is a size 8 and chose the mediums.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by ZooStaff Good but could be better!
I love the feel of these pants very light weight and dries fast. Fits great in butt and thigh. Length is a bit long and waist is too big. I am 5'3" and 200 lbs (a curvy woman) and I have to hem these one flip of the hem. The pants could fit SO much better if it was a drawstring waist and not a snap. Most women have a butt and small waists so the drawstring would make the fit more universal. So I took some of my husband's military para-cord and made one myself by feeding it though the waist band of the pants. Fit's awesome now. I work at a zoo so these get very dirty with "mud" and come clean great and are breezy for hot days. I think a simple redesign would increase your sales. I will be buying more colors and just McGyvering the waist again.

I literally live in these pants. I have 5 pair & wear them year-round. They have improved them by adding a second strap for when you convert them to capris so they don't sag on one side. They are light weight & take virtually no room in a drawer or suitcase. They dry incredibly quick both from splashes & in laundry. They have held up great. My first 3 pairs I bought 1 year & a half ago & I can't tell them apart from my 2 new pairs that I just bought so I don't have to do laundry as often. Every thing has pros & cons. There are only 2 cons I have found. I am 5'3" and the legs of the pants are a bit long for me. I took 2 inches off the bottom & resewed the cuff. The other con is that in winter with a cold breeze your legs can get chilly. I simply put another layer underneath with a thin long underwear if it is going to be cold outside. The thin fabric is great so that for the majority of the year I don't over-heat. I can dress them up or down. I love all the pockets! I don't like to carry a purse so multiple pockets is a must for me. No matter what the weather I am set with how these pants convert to capris & shorts. The first winter I had them I didn't use anything underneath, but we do live in Southern CA. The only time I need the second layer is when there is a real cold wet storm. You simply can't beat the price & the quality!

If memory serves me correct it is UPF 40. I threw the tags away, but I require good sun protection for medical reasons. I prefer UPF 50 & typically buy Coolibar brand clothes just for that, but they don't carry 2X in pants so I bought these instead. I have no issues with these & sun.A:Â
Don't know for sure, but the upf worked while I was fishing in an Amazon tributary.A:Â

The UPF rating is 50+ sun protections, per our catalogs. ThanksAnswers

I don't know, but the 2X is a 20-22 roughly so you might be able to use that & make an educated guess. Sorry I can't help you more.A:Â
