I've tried many different flat boots for Float Tubing over the years... I've been very impress with the World Wide Sportsman flats boots I purchased recently... They fit extremely well, are comfortabl,e and are easy to get on and off... I have to say, they are a value and the best flats boots I have used to date...

This is what I wanted. I had a Hodgeman pair I was happy with and was looking for a replica when these showed up on my web search. These are almost identical. I use these over my breathable waders to walk for a mile or so and when I get to my destination I slip on my fins over them and get into my float tube and out onto the lake.

I purchased the boots to reduce blood circulation in my feet when using my float tube. The problem began when I sat down to try them on with a pair of waders for fit. Take my size 10.5 EE wide foot with a neoprene bootie trying to squeeze my foot into these boots at my local Bass Pro Shop. The person helping me stated most people have to wear at least one size up to compensate for the "regular" width. I found a size 13 allowed my heel to move about, but across the ball of my foot began to fall asleep due to lack of blood. I returned to purchased these boots after investigating to find NO ONE including Simms and Orvis makes a wide bootie. In fact after an exhaustive search of all shoe companies no one makes a wide water shoe. An entire segment of the population is not being met, so one would think at least a single entrepreneur ready to take my money would produce a product that fits. Other than fit the boot appears to be a great value meeting my needs when fishing.
