These Fly Rods Rock! Geez, I bought 2 rods for less than the price of one rod! I ordered the 10 and 12 wt Deceiver fly rods as I needed 4-piece saltwater rods for travel and these fit the bill perfectly. These rod have everything you need and are built with strong components! In the blue water I cast a 700 grain shooting head on the 12 wt rod with no difficulty at all, easy to load the rod in a couple casts and let her rip! I used the 10 wt for some shore flyfishing and with a WF int sink line it was a breeze for 60-70 foot casts. These rods have plenty of backbone to cast well. I'm also looking forward to using the 10 wt. rod for chinooks. Now I don't have to worry about breaking or loosing an expensive fly rod, at $99.99, just as easy to order another one or 2 of them! Would also make a great backup rod. I can't wait to get them back out on the salt. These are the best economical fly rod you can buy! November 18, 2014
Love this rod I bought this rod in the 7 weight for light salt water and large mouth bass. It is a pleasure to cast, and throws big flies awesomely. I just broke it a couple of days ago, my fault a bad cast sent a large frog fly and broke the top of the rod off. Very sad will be buying another one soon. September 13, 2013
