I bought the shirt to wear on a vacation to Thailand. It worked great. It was cool and I was able to wash it out at night and it was dry and wrinkle free to wear again the next day.
If you want to wear the shirt tucked in the size zipper vents are a bit uncomfortable, but when you need the vents open, they are great.

Yes. This should definitly work. I am also long waisted (though I have not measured). I usually order mens shirts because womens tend to be too short, but I love this. It sits perfectly at hip level.A:Â
