Great pants for the price. Belt loops are a little too far apart and front pockets are shallow. Beside of that I like them.

I do not recomend these new design pants to anyone. Tapered legs from inseam down, shallow depth pockets, no mesh inner liner. Read my review for Hybrid angler pants. If you purchase a pair you will be very disappointed. Not designed for any freedom of movement. I Purchaseda pair of Columbia zip off pants, perfect. These along with Hybrid angler pants have lost there appeal. All the previous reviews were dated describing the previous design pant which were great. You ruined a good product with your current improvement!!!!

I wore them to Peru on a 16 day trip. They held up to the toughest elements.

Bought a pair of the latest version of the World Wide Sportsman hybrid pants. First pair, which sold for less, has same features as current product i.e. 2 rear pockets, zippered leg to remove pants over shoes, belt, etc. I own another pair that does not have the left rear pocket, no belt provided, and legs not zippered. Although the newest version has the same features as the original, they are made from a better quality material (Supplex nylon), the taper of the leg is better (for me) and the fit is perfect. I'm a medium/30. I expect this pair to be the equivalent of the original which I use when kayak fishing. I've dragged fish into the kayak and gotten everything you can get on the material when doing this type of fishing. They clean up very well in the laundry. I wear these trousers when traveling and around town. They are light, comfortable, and roll up in a suitcase without having to worry about ironing or taking up a lot of space. Just shake them out, let them sit a bit, and they are ready to go. The fact that they can turn into shorts means less packing. I only gave these trousers a 4 star rating because, like boats, there are no perfect ones. I would definitely recommend these trousers and plan to buy the moss color next. I have the desert tan which, like khaki, go with virtually anything.
