I saw the ad for this product on TV and decided to check Bass Pro for availability. As always they had it in stock and cheaper than the TV advertisement. Custome service over the phone was great, Works very well, my wife is really happy with her sharp kitchen knives.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Redfishbill Sharpest edge ever !
I've owned a lot of different knife sharpeners over the years, but none of them ever honed a blade as sharp as the Work Sharp tool. You have to be patient with honeing the extra hard blades, like on a hunting or a really good fishing fillet knife, but the end results are razor sharp edges that hold up really well with use. Well worth the money. Make sure to watch the DVD and read the instructions before trying.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by SavedxGrace Initial Impression - GREAT!
I bought this a few days ago and so far I'm more than impressed. I was able to quickly resurrect our kitchen knives that were passing as butter knives. I could have put more of an edge on them than I did but I was afraid of my wife and daughter cutting themselves after having used the dull blades for so long. My main reason for buying this was to repair my Kershaw Leek that was inadvertently put through our washing machine and damaged as a result. The tip was chipped off and several areas on the blade edge were visibly damaged. After several runs through the Work Sharp, the edge was restored back to where I could easily shave my arm. I could see where the tip was starting to reestablish and I'm fairly confident that with some more practice I can once again have a pointed tip to my knife.
Over time my opinion might change, but my initial impression is that this tool is everything it's advertised to be; a quick, easy way for the average user to put more than an adequate edge on just about any blade. Just be careful to follow the instructions and use internet forums as a guide as improperly using this tool could result in rounding off tips and damaging blades.

No power adaptor for Australia, will sharpen larger knives and machetes.A:Â
(the US version) doesn't include any power adapters. I've used it on machetes - you simply take off the guide and go to town on those bigger blades.Answers
