The Worden's® Vibric Rooster Tail® blends the famous Rooster Tail hackle tail with a unique sagging belly body design that provides a natural profile in the water. The direct blade-to-shaft spinner creates incredible noise and vibration that attracts strikes from trout, bass, salmon, steelhead, walleye, and other game fish.
great spinner for bass!
I regularly use rooster tails for bass fishing. The vibric rooster tail in darker colors has caught me more and bigger bass than any other rooster tail I've used. The 1/4 oz black tail with copper spinner especially works well on a sunny day. The way the light hits the copper spinner and the vibration creates action that really attracts the bass. The heavier 1/4 oz weight gets it deeper and helps cast it farther. If you like to use rooster tails, give it a try.

Yes, they are better for largemouth bass. The spinner shape creates more vibration and reflects more light on sunny days. I've caught more bass on this rooster tail compared to others in the same fishing spots.
Yes. The blade design allows for a slow retrieve. The clevis-type blades on the regular Rooster tails require a fast retrieve to get the blade spinning. I guess the fast retrieve is OK when the fish want it fast, but the vibric works both ways.
I use 1/4 oz white for white bass and wipers. I also catch many smallmouth on white, but fish are picky sometimes and want something you don't have. It's best to have a variety of colors and sizes, but if you don't want to buy alot, start out with white.
