We all have a handful of lures that we would not start a fishing season without. The Wardleys Super Rooster Tail is one of my "must Have" lures. When the trout just won't hit or you wish that you had a fly rod in the car try a lighter weight SRT. 1/6 0r 1/8 oz. this is a sure fish attracter. They don't hold up very long so after a few good hits it may be time to tie on a fresh one. Match the color to what they feed on locally. I find that trout love the trout color.

these run truer then regular rooster tails( bend when fish or snag) but still these have some issues.better to direct tie then use a swivel.
