Worden's Rooster Tails Single Hook
Great for pan fish
I love paddling my yak to a honey hole and fishing for pan fish with my ultra-light spinning rigs.
I have always hated trying to de-hook little bluegills, long ears, etc. from the treble hooks on standard in-lines. Saw these and decided to give them a shot. They catch fish as good as the trebles but are sooo much easier to remove.
2 thumbs up!!

The single hook rooster tails are a smash with most trout and making it barbless (flattening barb) makes them easy for catch and release and less harmful to the fish.

1/16OZ. ROOSTER TAILS
I HAVE USED THE ROOSTER TAILS FOR YEARS NOW AND I ENJOY CATCHING THE SMALLISH RAINBOW ,BROOK,AND BROWN TROUT IN THE STREAMS OF S.C. ,N.C. AZ. AND COLORADO. THE DARKER COLORS SEEM TO WORK THE BEST FOR ME.I ALSO USE A SMALL BLACK BALL BEARING SWIVEL ON THE FRONT OF MY ROOSTER TAILS TO REDUCE LINE TWIST ON OPEN FACE SPINNER REELS.THEY SEEM TO WORK THE BEST IN MEDIUM SWIFT STREAMS OR YOU HAVE TO REEL THEM PRETTY FAST.THE ONLY FLAWS I HAVE FOUND ARE SOMETIMES THE HOOKS BREAK ON A REALLY MEAN FISH AND SOMETIMES THE SPINNER HANGS UP AND WON'T SPIN UNLESS YOU WIND IT AT A FASTER SPEED.I HAVE WRITTEN WORDEN'S ABOUT THIS PROBLEM BUT HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY REPLIES.I TOLD THEM TO LOOK AT THE UNCLE BUCK'S HOOKS WHICH I HAVE FOUND TO BE MUCH STRONGER.THESE ARE VERY GOOD LURES ALSO BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DON'T MAKE THEM IN 1/16 OZ.SIZE ? MAYBE I'LL WRITE BASS PRO ABOUT IT AND SEE IF I CAN GET AN ANSWER.C.M.RICH IN S.C.
